In the summer of 2019, eight young people from the Theater Ateliers of KOPERGIETERY, Victoria Deluxe and Jong Gewei made a work trip to Palestine. They traveled around the West Bank for ten days and visited Tel Aviv. Two young people could not come because they did not receive a visa to enter Israeli territory, they were forced to follow the journey from Ghent.
If you ask them what the immersion in this conflict area did to them, they will answer: "My heart has been broken a thousand times", "life changing" or "a fire has been kindled in me that will not go out". In Drop by drop they, together with theater makers Craig Weston and Giovanni Baudonck, look for a way to share that fire with an audience.
