Nieuweling

'Nieuweling’ is the first public completion within the participation project ‘Muze Mondial’. Theatre teacher Isabel Vervoort worked in studio form with some 18 young people: Fedasil youth, who only recently arrived in Belgium, playing together with former atelier youth from KOPERGIETERY.

Young people of different ages and diverse cultural backgrounds. 
Each with their own story.

How do these young people stand in the world?
What vision of the future do they share, where do their beliefs clash?
How free are they, how trapped are they in their own bodies? 
Are they a group together, or are they not?

Questions that are touched or explored during the process. Some literally, others associatively, absurdly or provocatively.
