Hannah Yamin Zaouad explores what it means to step onto land that is both home and destination. With a sharp yet gentle voice, they unravel tensions between memory, inheritance, and the touristic industry.

Hannah Zaouad is theatermaker, woordkunstenaar, dramaturg en documentairemaker. Hen werkt vaak rond thema’s van arbeid, migratie, intergenerationeel geheugen en stedelijke transformatie. Hannah Yamin was mede-organisator van het cultuurfestival ‘We Buildt This Festival’ en maakte in 2024 de documentaire Gent:Rificatie. Hannah Yamin nodigt met hun werk mensen uit om verbanden te zien tussen verleden en heden en vooral tussen individuele levens en structurele systemen. ‘Hoe zeg je “kom terug?”’ won in 2025 de Roel Verniersprijs voor opkomend talent. In de herfst van 2026 verschijnt hun debuut dichtbundel ‘Ewaja’ bij EPO uitgeverij.
