In Invited Seppe Baeyens invites you to dance. Twelve amateur and professional dancers aged between 9 and 94 blend themselves into the audience almost imperceptibly. Which are the performers? Which are the spectators? The dancers set in motion a chain of simple, unforced, individual and collective movements. A giant blue rope – an impressive artwork by Ief Spincemaille – interconnects the performers and audience to form one large group, ready to be swept off their feet by the dynamic live music of Stef Heeren, Kwinten Mordijck and Elias Devoldere.

In 2015 choreographer and dancer Seppe Baeyens made his first large-scale dance show Tornar, under the wings of Ultima Vez and Wim Vandekeybus, featuring children and young people, professional dancers, an elderly man and a musician. Both Tornar and its successor Invited were selected for inclusion in the Flemish Theatre Festival.
